In the PM session, market continued to move upward. Till market closed, Basic Chemicals and Automobile led the gain. Agriculture and Steel led the fall. In total, both markets traded 620.31 billion RMB, down 9.35% dod.

*According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, last week (June 1-7) the national market price of edible agricultural products increased by 0.9% from the previous week, and the market price of means of production increased by 0.4% from the previous week. Meat prices have risen, of which the wholesale price of pork is 40.1 yuan per kilogram, up 3.8% from the previous week; the wholesale prices of beef and mutton have increased by 0.2% and 0.7% respectively.

*According to Changan Automobile, Changan Automobile Group sold 174,400 vehicles in May, a year-on-year increase of 54.3%. The sales volume of Changan’s Chinese-brand vehicles in May was 123,500 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.2%.

*The Ministry of Education issued the No. 1 Warning for Studying Abroad in 2020. During the epidemic, there were multiple discriminatory incidents against Asians in Australia. The Ministry of Education reminds all overseas students to do a risk assessment and is currently cautious in choosing to study in Australia or return to Australia.
