In the PM session, market increased slightly, but still below yesterday’s closing level. Till market end, Computer and Construction Materials led the gain. Coal and Electronic led the fall. In total, both markets traded 649.31 billion RMB, up 5.19%.

Tech giant Baidu is trialing its Apollo “robotaxi” service in the Chinese city of Changsha, becoming one of the first companies to carry passengers in autonomous vehicles, although human drivers are there just in case.
*Japanese dairy firm Yakult to build its largest plant in Wuxi
Yakult will invest $300 million to build its second plant, aiming to meet fast growth in the Chinese market. The construction will start in August and is expected to finish by 2022.
