NEAR TERM BEARISH, MINOR DECISION POINT

The chart below shows that the VIX edged back above its 21-day moving average last week, indicating an emerging monthly trend of increasing volatility.  A sustained rise above the 21-day MA, currently situated at 15.80, would be seen as evidence of an emerging stock market decline.
